Declarative is a second mood that possesses a big number of tenses.
In this chapter we would like to publish verb conjugations in this mood.
Some notes:
- Ind. – Indicative
- P.I. – Present Indefinite
- Declarative Participle – Past Passive Participle in the neutral gender. (viđati – viđano)
Present Indefinite Tense
This tense has two forms to be used with.
- Predicateless sentenses (describing constant situations and views).
- ÏMÁTI (Ind, P.I.) + Declarative Participle
Present Definite Tense
Scheme: ÏMÁTI (Ind. P.D.) + Declarative Participle
Future Indefinite Tense
Scheme: HTE + BYTI (Ind. P.I.) + L-participle of BYTI + L-participle of ÏMÁTI + Declarative Participle
Example:
- Ja hte sòm byl mál kupano ferari. – Once I will buy a ferrari.
Future Definite Tense
Scheme: HTE + ÏMÁTI (Indicative Present) + Declarative Participle
Pre-future Tense
Scheme: HTE + Perfect Participle of ÏMÁTI + Declarative Participle
Example:
- Ty hte si mál učeno pred izpytom. – You will have learnt (all you need) by the time the exam will occur.
Past Indefinite
Scheme: Pre-perfect participle of ÏMÁTI + Declarative Participle
Example:
- On je byl mal pjijeno dva lïtra pjiva – He used to drink two litres of beer (at once).
Aorist
Scheme: Aorist of ÏMÁTI + Declarative Participle
Imperfect
Scheme: Imperfect of ÏMÁTI + Declarative Participle
Perfect
Scheme: Prerfect of ÏMÁTI + Declarative Participle
Plusquamperfect
Scheme: Plusquamperfect of ÏMÁTI + Declarative Participle
Future-in-the-Past Tense
Scheme: IMPERFECT OF HTETI + DA + PRESENT INDEFINITE OF IMÁTI + Declarative Participle
Example:
- Včera ja htěh da mám rođano dvôh čędoŭ. – Yesterday [I though] I would like to have two children.
Pre-future-in-the-Past Tense
Scheme: IMPERFECT OF HTETI + DA + PERFECT-PARTICIPLE OF ÏMÁTI + Declarative Participle
